92% Of Women Masturbate; But How Often Do They Do It?

A new study reveals 92% of women regularly take time out to masturbate, a huge jump from the findings of previous studies (74% in 1979 and 62% in 1953).
The Gossard Big M Survey interviewed 1,000 women, ages 18-30, and their answers indicate that not only do 9 out of 10 women play with themselves, two-thirds do it three times a week. The study refers to these as "sessions," which we can assume doesn't refer to the number of orgasms achieved, but rather, the time spent achieving them. 'Cause you know that if you have one, you stick around for more. Orgasms from masturbating are like Payless shoes: Once you get the first pair, you get the second for next to nothing.
Going just from the published findings of this survey, it's impossible to determine, on average, what percentage of the week is spent flying solo. So maybe we can make this a group effort? I'll start off:
- I masturbate, on average, 5 days a week.
- Each "session" lasts for about 12 minutes, with a minimum of 3 orgasms a session, and a max of 13. (I don't know if these means I'm really good at it, or really bad.)
- I sleep, on average, about 6 hours a night, so I'm deducting that from my "week."
Variables:
- I work from home, so I have more opportunities to masturbate on a whim than most women.
- I use a Hitachi Magic Wand, which is indeed magical, so the act is easier. However, I also make up for time saved by being greedy with as many orgasms as possible.
So, if my math is correct, then:
7,080 minutes of my week, I am awake.
60 minutes are spent masturbating.
Which means:
.84% of my week is spent masturbating.
But also, of the days I masturbate:
1,080 minutes of my day are spent awake.
12 minutes are spent masturbating.
Which means:
1.1% of my day is spent masturbating.

Artist Makes Life-Size Mummy from McDonald's Food

Ben Campbell, a dude who refers to himself as “some kind of artist from west Texas”, sent us these photos of a life-size mummy he created out of about $200 worth of McDonald’s food.

You’re probably thinking Ben needs a better hobby, but you have to remember he’s not just some guy with nothing better to do, he’s some kind of artist, so he has a pretty good explanation for creating his unique McDonald’s food mummy. Apparently, for the last couple of months, Campbell has been working on an art show to highlight the connection between ancient Egypt and modern society, and his meat mummy is the centerpiece. It makes a lot of sense if you think about it and Ben himself explains that “ancient Egypt was obsessed with achieving immortality through customs that included mummification and the construction of pyramids. Modern society is likewise obsessed with achieving a from of immortality through our own customs that include pursuing celebrity status and constructing corporations.” And since McDonald’s is one of the world’s biggest corporations…

Man wins $1 million lottery prize SIX times in the same draw

An Arizona man has beaten the odds to win $1 million cash prizes in the lottery not once but six times.

The man bought his tickets for the April 25 multistate lottery game at a QuickTrip store in Glendale, hand-picking the same numbers six times.

News of the win spread round the city in the days after the draw after it was announced that only one of the tickets had been claimed, prompting players to double check their numbers.

Now the rumours have been confirmed, it was indeed one lucky winner who owned all six of them.

The man bought six tickets with five identical numbers at the gas station and a different Powerball for each.

He made three separate trips to the Arizona Lottery’s headquarters in Phoenix to claim his $6 million.

Jeff Hatch Miller, Executive Director of the Arizona Lottery, confirmed the win and told KTAR.com: ‘It's absolutely fantastic, and as rare as it might be, it does happen. 'It was an exciting event each time,' said Miller.

‘The fact that they came three different times had to do with something only known to them and certainly not known to us.’

Texting While Walking Is Illegal In NJ Town

Police in Fort Lee, New Jersey are issuing $85 tickets to anyone caught texting while walking in a clamp-down on dangerous walkers.

In actions which could set a precedent for other police forces around the country, the Fort Lee Police Department (FLPD) have issued 117 tickets for reckless walking in just over one month.

And while it is a common known fact that you should not be texting while driving, the FLPD believe that staring down at your phone crossing from the sidewalk should be punished too.

Reasoning that as reliance on smartphones means more people are not paying attention when they walk, the FLPD point to at least 20 pedestrians hit by cars in the borough in the past year who were culpable of text-walking.

'It's a big distraction,' said Fort Lee Police Chief Thomas Ripoli.

'Pedestrians aren't watching where they're walking, they're not aware.'

Stepping up patrols around the town, the police have been on the lookout for pedestrians who they say are dangerous walkers according to myfoxphilly.com.

While Fort Lee police have clarified their position to only giving tickets to pedestrians who ignore traffic signs or jaywalk because of their phones, walking along the sidewalk is still acceptable.

Police said that before they put their foot down and started dishing out the tickets for text-walking, they handed out fliers warning of the dangers.

'These measures are to remind the pedestrians to be aware not to be on their cell phones and texting.'

Fort Lee Police Department hope that these new procedures will ultimately lead to a fall in accidents involving pedestrians.

Although the first police department to issue tickets for text-walking, Fort Lee is following on the heels of other initiatives.

In May last year the City of Philadelphia began issuing warnings to pedestrians who were not paying attention while walking because of their cell-phone.

Woman Marrying Herself!

Facing social pressure to get married, a 30-year-old Taiwanese woman has decided to forgo finding a husband—and marry herself.
She isn’t against marriage, or anti-men. Chen Wei-yih simply feels that the pressure to marry and the tradition involved are too much, reports Reuters. Local government is concerned about dropping birth rates and the associated economic effects as women are marrying later and less frequently. It seems however, that many feel sympathetic to her choice, as online publicity has garnered 1,800 comments largely in agreement with her.
“Age 30 is a prime period for me,” says the bride-to-be. “My work and experience are in good shape, but I haven’t found a partner, so what can I do? It’s not that I’m anti-marriage. I just hope that I can express a different idea within the bounds of a tradition.”
Following her wedding reception next month (she can’t officially register herself as a marriage partner) she will be going on a solo honeymoon to Australia.
